Our founder's story led us here - a new business with an unforgiving focus on enterprise-scale Shopify Plus.
Zeitcore® is a global Shopify-centric software developer and agency that works with innovative companies to create the very best Shopify® implementations. With backgrounds at Athletic Greens and Starbucks, we work with founders, CEOs, and executive teams to realize their most significant opportunities with Shopify at the core. Like so many others, we design and develop exceptional Shopify stores. But we go much, much further. Enterprise integrations and triggers like leadership changes, shifting business models, market expansions, and product innovations are perfect challenges for us.

With executive leadership experience at Starbucks, MGM Resorts and Athletic Greens, our team had a front-row seat to all that challenges eCommerce initiatives at scale - especially those on Shopify. We started Zeitcore from a place of immense passion and lessons learned. We knew we could help connect the dots for companies with big ambitions.
Our founder's story starts in 1994, at a time when the internet was grappling with it's own identity.
Zeitcore founder, Kelly Smith got his first "real" job with a scrappy outfit in Seattle called Spry. This was in the heady heyday of the web itself. He couldn't have known it at the time but he'd finally find the kind of work that everyone dreams about - a job that doesn't feel like a job.
Seattle-based Spry licensed the original Mosaic browser source code from the National Center for Supercomputing Applications and we decided to put it in a box. It was called Internet in a Box and was one of the very first ways most people got online in those days.
Kelly leaves Spry and goes to work for another small company (now called RealNetworks) in Seattle with a big dream - stream audio over the internet for the first time. RealAudio. Check.
The brilliant team at RealNetworks ups the ante and offers the first technology for ambitious companies to stream video online.
Kelly starts his first company (RocketVox) with a dream to license archived video content to anyone that thought digital delivery of video content could enhance their business.
Kelly and his cofounders sell the company to a crew of Microsoft vets working on another project and it becomes known as ThePlatform. Today, it's owned by Comcast.
Kelly starts several more venture-backed companies and begins to really internalize the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. During these years, he sharpens his creative approach to life and out-of-the-box thinking in order to drive better business outcomes.
Kelly tries his hand in corporate life, first heading technology for Starbucks in China and then leading the team developing the popular mobile ordering app - the biggest digital commerce effort in all of "brick and mortar."
More exposure to large companies, this time leading digital at MGM and heading up a half-billion dollar e-commerce enterprise in the process.
Redesigned the tech & teams responsible for AG1, the biggest player in DTC nutrition. Learned a lot of value lessons operating the largest Shopify platform in this category.
We exclusively focus on Shopify, dedicating all our resources and expertise to mastering this platform. This singular focus allows us to delve deeper into the nuances of Shopify and Shopify Plus, ensuring that we provide the highest level of service and innovation.
