Already a formidable force in other retail channels, we were tasked to LG them build a newly branding site to sell direct to consumers through their own channel.

The LG division CEO presented uswith a unique challenge...

The newly appointed CEO helped us appreciate that LG is so much more than televisions, computer monitors and appliances. They are also one of the largest developers of skincare, haircare and oral care products in Korea. The ask - build a newly branding site to sell direct to consumers.

All in on headless

Project requirements called for a fully customizable, headless CMS designed for personalized e-commerce. We chose Sanity.io for it's infinite flexibility, real-time collaboration features, and how it seamlessly integrates with React and Shopify to create a powerful, unified platform for e-commerce.

Customized offers (nearly) everywhere

Zeitcore serves custom product offers based on segments, which allows LG to explore a wide range of marketing scenarios. For example, if a visitor is within a particular RFM segment, the marketing team can present sale products or best sellers which are more likely to improve customer engagement and LTV.

A complete design system to go with a complete customer data strategy

For LG, we didn’t just implement the Zeitcore Customer Data Platform (CDP); we also developed a full design system for their new Shopify headless store. This design system governs all aspects of how the digital storefront looks and feels, from typography and rich text formats to the way images and content scale across devices. It ensures that every page, element, and interaction stays true to the brand’s aesthetic and usability goals while remaining adaptable to various screen sizes

Omnichannel from the start

With headless Shopify, LG Beauty can easily integrate and synchronize its e-commerce platform with various touchpoints (social media, mobile apps, devices, etc.), providing a cohesive brand experience across all channels.

Personalized Experiences

The flexibility of headless commerce, combined with the power of Shopify's back-end capabilities, allows for highly personalized content, offers, and shopping experiences based on user behavior, preferences, and data analytics.

LG demanded blistering performance

We knew that headless websites often load faster than traditional ones because the front end is optimized for performance, leading to better user experiences and potentially higher conversion rates.

LG demanded enhanced customization and flexibility

Using React for the front end enables the creation of dynamic, app-like shopping experiences that can be tailored to the unique needs and preferences of LG Beauty's audience.

Beyond personalized commerce, Zeitcore developed the design system, storefront and all backend integrations.

From ERP system systems to taxation, Zeitcore got LG up and running with a fully functional site within a few months.  During that time, we integrated with critical systems of record and developed all of deployment processes with the client.
